James Middleton - Portraits by Commission

A commissioned portrait is a timeless heirloom. It can capture the fleeting innocence of youth, celebrate the depth of a special relationship or acknowledge a person, whether in a family context or in business.

• Family • Business • Anniversary • Weddings

James is an elected member of The Portrait Society of Canada (Top Finalist, 2014 National Competition “The Miracle of the Portrait”), The Portrait Society of America, The Canadian Society of Artists and Oil Painters of America. His work also includes landscape, figure and still life. The studio/gallery is located on the Lighthouse Route near the LaHave Bakery and the Fort Point Museum.

We also offer workshops. Why not escape and go outside for some plein air painting on the beautiful south shore of Nova Scotia. Our workshops offer a good balance between friendly interchange and education. We also offer indoor studio workshops/classes in painting or drawing.
