Seaside studio of shale artist Cheryl Hassen. You will find framed and mounted pictures of her critically acclaimed shale photography, as well as other artwork made of shale. Aptly named “Spirit Speak,” you can feel the positive energy of the natural elements speak through her one-of-a-kind medicine sticks and shale stone sculptures.
Hours of Operation: Summer and Fall- Tues-Sun 10-5pm; Winter by appointment; Spring - Fri-Sun 10-5pm

Riverbank General Store and Cafe

In the heart of Mill Village on the banks of the Medway River at the end of 331, this quaint old-fashion Store is much more than you’d think.  Leaning towards local green products with Free Range Meats and other items in the general merchandise category, it caters to the discerning in taste. Our Cafe is one that surpasses expectation with food and atmosphere. It’s one heck of a good place to eat while watching the river drift by.  Afterwards, visit our gift shop and pick up gifts created by local artisans, as well as things from around the world.

LaHave River Trail

LaHave River Trail

This trail will re-create a trail link between the Town of Bridgewater and the South Shore Annapolis Valley Trail in New Germany.  Currently, there is 3 km under construction along Wentzell Lake.  Parking is available at the Southwest end of the trail.  When completed, access will include hikers, bicycles, ATV’s, snowmobiles, skies, and horses.
